They didn't know your email, they knew the user account your computer log-in is listed as. It's just a simple cookie to your computer's internal id information. If you go into your main drive > users, you'll probably find a folder named "Ammoe" which is what your computer calls you, probably because you set it to that way back when you got the computer running from factory settings last. In my case the game asked me "Is your name Owner?"
The game basically has cookies that check for the name of the user account on your computer. For example, when you log on to your computer, you see who owns the account (then you enter your password and arrive on the desktop), well that's the name the game uses. If you change your account name on your computer, it will likely change in game. I never set a special name so the game asked me "Is your name Owner?" (which isn't my real name of course).
Don't worry it is perfectly legal and many other games did the same too (to create a surprise effect), the game don't possess all of your personals informations and the game don't remember your name to send it to anyone.

I loved this game! I played it twice trying to see if I could change the ending. Hopefully you'll expand on this some. I'd love to play a longer game like this! Great job!

Hey, cool game! I love games that make you question reality lol. It was short and had good atmosphere. The sound was a little wonky at times, but not so much that it took away from the experience. I enjoyed it!

I will play it properly later, but I wanted to post as a warning that VTubers should not stream this... I was streaming a bunch of free indie horror games and got hella doxxed by this using my real name.
A warning here on the downloads page or in game would have been nice.
I had to frantically change screens and end the game, haven't picked it back up yet
Just released my 2nd 3 Scary Games video, and this was the third game! Pretty interesting, although it felt very short. I also think there were too many personality quiz questions that kinda took away the spook factor from it, at least for me, but it was still a really interesting concept that I could see being developed further! Also, I only played through it once so I don't know if there were multiple endings or not.

This was great game! Cool concept, unnerving atmosphere, it somehow guessed my name??? Definitely thought provoking and ultimately satisfying to play.
The ending was abrupt though. It left me wanting more just as things were getting interesting. I hope to see more games from you!
